BETTER RENDERS COMING SOON!! So this week I did my final pass on textures. I utilized a variety of techniques in substance painter to get this result. The blog Rich had made to make realistic skin helped a ton, and I was able to reuse a lot of those basic techniques for different parts of my turtle, such as on his shell and even various wood materials. Many curvatures and paint layers were used in the making of this beefy boy. Unfortunately I was not able to pose him with one of our wonderful weapon artists weapons in time (trust me I tried) But Im hoping to have him posed in time for industry review in a couple days at least. This was a very challenging project that I found to be very rewarding, fun and I learned a lot. Heres to more cool characters in the future!
